PROSPECTUS

The Parents / Guardians are hereby requested to read and note the following rules and regulations, while they and their children / wards have to obey and comply in case admissions are granted to them by the school.

CERTIFICATE

Pupils who have attended other schools cannot be admitted without a Leaving Certificate from the school last attended. Admission of a pupil from any other State or Union Territory shall be made only if the Leaving Certificate of the pupil is countersigned by the Education Officer or an equivalent authority in that State / Union Territory. Those children, who have not attended any other school before, must produce a Birth Certificate.

GENERAL DISCIPLINE

  •  The parents and puils should keep in mind the following principles of discipline, as laid down in the Secondary Schools Code (1979):

    • Pupils should realize that they are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of the school on the part of pupils shall make them liable to disciplinary action

    • Parents / Guardians are given to understand they cannot dictate to the School Management and that the Management has a right to say on what condition they will admit or retain pupils in the school

    • Regular attendance is one of the conditions under which a child is admitted. No leave of absence is granted except on previous written application from the parents or guardians and this will only be serious reason, which should be mentioned. Absence without leave renders a child liable for punishment. Such absence before or after a holiday renders a child liable to be stuck off the rolls.

    •  Those children who absent themselves from the school without the knowledge of their parents/guardians will be liable to severe disciplinary action or even dismissal. Should such absence be during the time of Unit Test / Exam, he/she will be given zero (0) marks for the respective Unit Test / Exam.

    •  Pupils must be present on the closing and the opening day of the school before and after any vacation.

    •  Absence for more than 2 days is permitted only for medical reasons for which medical certificate should be provided.

    •  Non-availability of railway reservation or any such excuses will not be accepted as a reason for non-attendance by any student on the opening day of the school after any vacation.

    •  Regular attendance and study habit, prompt obedience, courtesy in speech and conduct, cleanliness of dress and person, a decent haircut for the boys are must.

    •  Hence, irregular attendance, habitual idleness, unsatisfactory application to studies, disobedience, objectionable moral influence and unsatisactory conduct (like whistling, shouting, etc.) in and out of school, justify the dismissal of a student from the school.

    •  No student, who has been absent from the school, shall be admitted to the class whithout the Principal's permission with signature in the calendar.

  •  A pupil, who fails consecutively twice in the same standard, is liable to be asked to leave the school

  •  Children of school-going age are not expected to take part in political activities.

  •  Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate or is repeatedly or willfully mischievous or is guilty of malpractices in connection with examinations or has committed an act of serious indiscipline and/or misbehabiour, or who, in the opinion of the Head of the school, has an unwholesome influence on his fellow-pupils, may be expelled permanently or removed from the school for a specified period by the Head of the school.

  •  All the children must look after their own belongings. Coats, Raincoats, Caps, Jerseys, Umbrellas, Tiffin Boxes and all the books must be marked with the names and the classes of the owners. It is not advisable for a child to have money or any other valuables with him/her. The school will not be responsible for the things, which are lost by the students. Girls should not wear ornaments of Gold and Silver.

  •  Books, periodicals, magazines, comics or pictures of any kind, which are not approved by the school, will be confiscated if found in possession of the students.

  •  Any student breaking the above rules will be liable to pay a fine and/or face any other disciplinary action, as decided upon by the Principal.

WITHDRAWAL

  • No Leaving Certificate will be issued unless the Parent or Guardian makes a request in writing in the prescribed form provided at the back of the diary provided to the student.

  • Minimum 30 days' notice is required for the withdrawal of a student from the school

  • No Leaving Certificate will be issued untill all the fees and other dues to the school are paid in full.

  • Parents or Guardians withdrawing their children / wards from the school and intending to enroll them in other schools outside Maharastra State are reminded to have the Leaving Certificate issued by the school countersigned by the Education Officer, Zilla Parishad, Pune

SCHOOL UNIFORM AND HAIR STYLE

It is compulsory for all the pupils to wear the prescribed school uniform, without which they will not be permitted to attend the classes. The pupils coming to the school without wearing the prescribed school uniform may be sent back to home. 

Uniform Boys: Regular Uniform with Black Leather Shoes 
Uniform Girls: Regular Uniform with Black Leather Shoes, White Plastic Hair Band with one/two Pony neatly tied. 

Blazer is compulsory from class 7th onwrds. 

With PT Uniform white canvas shoes is compulsory. 

PT Uniform days will be given as per class Time Table. 

Hair should be short and neatly cut. If we find any boy without hair cur ot with shabby hair, the barber will be called to cut hair immediately and the amount will be added in the bill.

TEST AND EXAMINATIONS

  •  Test will be conducted every month for Standards I to VIII according to school timetable

  •  Continuous evaluation pattern will be followed as per SSC Board Rules

  •  Two Semester per term will be conducted for Standards I to VIII

  •  Class test will be conducted regularly in every subject

RECOMMENDATION TO THE PARENTS

The school expects the co-operation of the parents / guardians to ensure:

  •  That the children come to the school regularly, punctually and neatly dressed.

  •  That the children bring to the school their books and note books, which are properly maintained.

  •  That the children bring their school calendar regularly to the school.

  •  That the children do their homework regularly.

  •  That the homework is signed every day by the parents / guardians.

  • That the occasional report made by the teacher in the school calendar is signed and returned by the parents/guardians.

  • That they comply, as early as possible, when requested to meet the teacher or Principal regarding any matter concerning their children, who are the students of our school.

  • That they do not ring up the school telephone Nos. expected in urgent cases. No requests from the parents/guardians for calling the students and/or staff to the phone shall be entertained under any circumstances, whatsoever.

RAILWAY CONCESSIONS

  •  Railway Concession Forms are available at the school office. Parents / guardians are requested to submit the applications in writing in the prescribed form provided in this calendar, in case they wish to avail of the Railway Concession for their children / wards.

  •  According to the instruction received from the Railway Board, the school is expected to fill in the relevant particulars on the Railway Concession Forms. Hence, the school will issue the Railway Concession Forms only after 2 or 3 days from the date of receipt of the necessary applications from the parents / guardians. Pupils proceeding to their home-town only will be issued Railway Concession Forms and that too only for travel during the school vacation. Parents / guardians are requested to plan their journey before hand and to apply for the concession forms for their children / wards well in advance. Last minute application will not be accepted. Please apply at least 30 days before the date of journey.

  •  Application Forms should be accompanied by the concerned pupil's school calendar.

LIBRARY RULES

  • Library Books will be sent to the classes. Every student is allowed to borrow one book from the Class Library at a time. In addition to this facility, the students of Standards VII to IX may borrow from the library, during its working hours, one book each at a time for a period not exceeding one week.

  •  Any book borrowed by a student, if not required by another student, may be re-issued to him / her for another week.

  •  Certain books, magazines etc., are available only for reference in the Library.

  •  A student is allowed to keep a library book with him/her only for a maximum period of one week from the date of issue of the book to him/her. Failure to return the book to the Library on the due date will make the defaulting student liable to pay a Late fee @ Re. 1/- per day for the excess period in which the book had been kept with him/her, over and above the permitted one week.

  •  Library books must not be exchanged or inter-changed by the students between them. Each student is fully responsible for the book that he/she borrows from the library.

  •  If a book is lost or destroyed by a student, the full market value of the book will be recovered from him/her.

  •  Books should be treated with care both in and out of the Library. No writing, scribling, torn pages, marks and the likes are allowed.

  •  All the books should be returned at leat a forthnight before the commencement of the Annual Examination.

  •  Any student breaking the above rules will be liable to pay a fine and/or any other disciplinary action, as decided upon by the Principal.
